El Tonto Por Cristo Movie Screening
On March 29, 2026 our parish along with Assumption Greek Orthodox Church will co-host the screening of El Tonto Por Cristo, the first English language Orthodox narrative feature film of its kind. Set in a fictional Eastern Orthodox monastery on the Texas Gulf, it tells the story of a brotherhood of monks through a series of vignettes as they inch toward sainthood struggling along the way with the burden of their own condition.
The screening will be held at The Movies at Meadville; 11155 Highline Drive; Meadville, PA 16335. Tickets are $20 and include the screening of the film, a Q&A with writer/director Josh Jordan, and small mingle. VIP packages are also available for $55.00 which includes early entry into the theater, a meet and greet with Josh Jordan and exclusive El Tonto merch.
